Game Programmer | Unreal Engine 5

My Contributions

“In this 3D Survival and Adventure game, the player, an astronaut on a foreign planet, discovers that the lifeforms there suffer from starvation and tries to help in whatever way they can.”

Otherworld Hunger is an exploration game with a focus on player gathering and crafting. My main role was Lead Programmer, but I also had the opportunity to do environment design for the first time on the main level, “Forgotten Swamp”. Our game had a three-month development period in the context of [P1] Games and received the Most Innovative award.

My Contributions

Melody | The Songstres Savior was the first project, and first game jam, I worked on within a team setting. Of the four programmers, I was responsible for character movement and the main gameplay, which is resemblant of games like Subway Surfers or Temple Run. Our project, though a bit lackluster, was entirely successful in the experience that our small team of 8 newcomers gained within a one-month timeframe.

My Contributions

FlowMo is a passion project that I started in 2022 and occasionally work on when I find the time. It’s a Minecraft add-on that allows the player to manipulate the camera to produce cinematic recordings. Working on this project has given me a sense of marketing, product management, and software implementation in the context of Minecraft’s large gaming audience.

My first video game project made in Unity. The intent of this project was mainly to learn the fundamentals of game design and to familiarize myself with navigating a game engine. I focused on the tone and ambiance of the demo to immediately show the player what type of gameplay they could expect from a full version of the game.
